Job Qualifications

Fluency with finance theory, including security valuation, portfolio construction, and accounting is required. Knowledge of index development, construction, and management from both a theoretical and a practical standpoint is advantageous. Experience with S&P Compustat is helpful. Impeccable written and verbal communication skills are required. Flexibility, initiative and the ability and desire to work in a small firm environment are necessities. Backgrounds in index analysis, investment research, portfolio management, rating agency, accounting, and consulting will be considered. Candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years of financial services experience as well as the authority to work in the US without restriction.



Job Description
The Index Analyst will assist the firm’s product development and management efforts, supporting the portfolio managers to create and test new products. Primary duties include structuring new index products to be launched as ETFs, UITs, and other fund products. Additional duties will include researching, backtesting, and refining investment strategies. Clear Asset Management is an independent, investment management and equity research firm. Clear offers actively managed algorithm-driven equity portfolios for individuals, financial intermediaries and institutions. The firm was founded in 2004.
